Halbert Katzen

Halbert Katzen works as an author, speaker, and educator. His current project is The Logic of Love series, a trilogy that focuses on spirituality, family life, and community. His first two books in this series, The Logic of Love: Finding Faith Through the Heart Mind Connection and Peace on Earth Begins at Home: Conversations that Create Cooperation are currently available. The third one, Peace on Earth: Living the Possibility is in process.

Mr. Katzen has been a guest on the Denver talk show, Spiritual Spectrum, and his articles have accepted in a variety of publications. In talks and seminars that are both entertaining and thought provoking, he's introducing paradigm shifts that are designed to bring healing and long term solutions to inter-faith relations, our broken families, and our communities.

Mr. Katzen's education and professional life have uniquely qualified him for taking on the breadth of human issues and concerns. While attending Brandeis University, he created an interdisciplinary major called "The Nature and Development of Religious Experience." This work combined the perspectives of anthropology, sociology, and philosophy with his interests in theology. He received his law degree and MBA from the University of Colorado. His professional experiences include teaching students who have been expelled from public school for criminal and emotional behavior problems; coaching wrestling at a facility for incarcerated youth; practicing law; working in the Human Resource Department at Landmark Education; teaching financial fitness seminars in the public school system; and working with a variety of nonprofit organizations.
